AHLUNA : Jurnal Hukum Keluarga Islam
The Islamic Family Law Study Program (AHLUNA) emerges as an academic space that harmonizes classical scholarship with the challenges of modern law. The name AHLUNA, which means "our family", reflects the vision of this program to cultivate law graduates who are not only proficient in normative and textual aspects but also responsive to the social realities of the community.
AHLUNA focuses its studies on marriage law, inheritance, guardianship, and family dispute resolution through an integrative approach that bridges Sharia, national legislation, and contemporary societal needs. Through an adaptive curriculum, students are guided to master the methodology of legal reasoning (istinbath al-ahkam), juridical analysis, and practical skills in advocacy as well as family law counseling.
The uniqueness of AHLUNA lies in its commitment to shaping a body of Islamic family law scholarship that is inclusive, progressive, and solution-oriented. Supported by competent faculty, research rooted in current issues, and networks with legal and religious institutions, AHLUNA serves as a strategic platform for developing knowledge that balances text and context, law and public welfare.
Thus, AHLUNA is not merely an academic program, but a house of knowledge that nurtures a generation of Islamic family law experts who embody integrity, character, and readiness to deliver justice for families and society at large.
