Magot is the larval phase of the insect Hermetia Illucens or more commonly known as the Black Soldier Fly or black army fly. Magot has a role as an organic compost material in a relatively short time. Magot likes media that has a fermented or fruity aroma, he will not lay eggs in the fermentation medium but will look for a dry place for the egg-laying media. The UNISDA KKN student group has a mission to make the people of Sambangrejo Village, Modo sub-district, Lamongan Regency aware of the importance of processing household waste through several work programs related to processing solid waste. Some of the activities carried out were training on maggot cultivation as animal feed that contains high protein which was carried out in Sambangrejo Village, Modo District, Lamongan Regency, considering the low public awareness of the importance of waste management. As a result, through some of the above activities, people are able to make people aware of the importance of managing waste into animal feed and a source of high protein yields to be used for several things including organic fertilizer, maggot oil, animal feed.
